Helpful Hints:

Hint #1: Throw some Pizazz in the Mix! Instead of mixing with plain ole water, try mixing with an herbal tea instead! Green tea is a great choice. as well as chamomile, rosehip or lavender, but the sky's the limit, so be creative!

Hint #2: Use to clean your cosmetic brushes and applicators! It will gently cleanse them without drying, and rinses away quickly and completely!

A couple quick FAQ's:
Q: Isn't foaming soap just watered down liquid soap? Why not just buy cheap liquid hand soap and dilute it?
A: No, it's really not the same thing. Contrary to what you may see on the internet, this is NOT a good idea. While it's true that foaming soap is much thinner than regular liquid soap, the reason is NOT because it has more water, it's because it does not contain thickeners that regular hand soap contains. Diluting regular hand soap is a bad idea for a couple of reasons. Firstly, you are diluting the active ingredients so it will be less effective. Secondly, one of those important ingredients you are diluting is a preservative, and by diluting it, you are opening the door for all sorts of nasty bacterial to grow in the bottle (ewwww!)
Unlike regular hand soap, this refill is designed specifically to be diluted. The ingredients are very concentrated, so the end result is a full-strength cleanser, yet thin enough to work in a foamer bottle.

Q: What about liquid castile soap recipes I keep seeing on DIY sites?
A: Not to talk smack about castile soap, but the problem with using it, or any other actual soap, (this product is not actually soap, more on that below) to personal care is the pH is very high, which is not at all good for skin or hair. Clean your house with it, not your body! Side note, high pH is also terrible for your hair, so all those DIY recipes for homemade shampoos with baking soda or castile soap, REALLY bad ideas!

Q: So you say "soap" is not good for skin and hair, isn't this product called "soap"?
A: Okay, you're right, we did decide to call it "hand soap", but it's really not a true soap, it just what people are used to seeing on their hand cleansing products. Soap is made by combining oils/fats with lye. The product of this union known as "soap" is by its very nature (and there is no way around this) high in pH. Our hand cleanser however, is made with a blend of fully biodegradable, naturally derived "surfactants", and the pH is adjusted to 5, which is so much better for your skin!
